My name is Matthew Brown and welcome to my website. I have over 20 years experience offering exceptional tutoring where my pupils achieve well above their predicted grades. Which levels do I teach?

I can help significantly improve your performance in Maths, French, Spanish and Italian at all levels including:

Primary School level (Key Stages 1 and 2)

Common Entrance (11+ and 13+)

Secondary School level (Key Stage 3 and GCSE/IGCSE)

Sixth form – A Level and International Baccalaureate

In addition to my academic tutoring I offer chess tuition for players ranging from complete beginners to skilled players (up to 1700 rating) who are looking to further develop their strategic and tactical knowledge.

Where do I tutor?

I am based in Mill Hill, London NW7 and provide face to face tuition within roughly 45 minutes driving time of Mill Hill including Barnet, Finchley, Hendon and Hampstead. I also tutor online.

My fees

My fees are £50 per hour for tuition. I offer discounts for block bookings of 5, 10 or 15 lessons:

10 lessons £410
15 lessons £575

Please note that I require at least 24 hours notice for a cancellation or I will have to charge for the lesson.

DBS Certification

I have up to date and entirely clear Enhanced DBS certification.
